Frequently asked questions
What is a mail club?
A subscription to something physical, sent regularly: an illustration, a zine, stickers, a letter. Subscribers pay every month and receive something in their mailbox.
How much does Homing Club cost?
Two tiers. The Free tier takes 5% commission on payments, with no subscription: you only pay when your subscribers pay. The Club+ tier, at €9 per month, drops the commission to 0% and adds a custom domain and Teams.
Who receives the subscribers' money?
You do. Every payment lands in your own Stripe account, in your name. We never hold your funds: our commission is taken along the way, and that is all.
How is postage calculated?
You pick your shipping country and the maximum weight of your mailings. We apply the matching official postal table, and every subscriber sees the exact rate for their destination at checkout. You can adjust any rate afterwards.
Do you take a commission on postage?
Never. Our commission applies to the price of your plan only. The postage your subscriber pays comes back to you in full.
How is this different from Ko-fi or a Shopify subscription?
Those tools know how to take a recurring payment. None of them knows about the cut-off, the monthly group charge, the address frozen at close, or the postal rate per country. That is exactly what we do.
Can I migrate from another platform?
Yes. You import your subscriber list as a CSV and each person reactivates their subscription in one click, without retyping their address.
Do I handle shipping myself?
Yes, and that is the point. You pack and you post: that is what makes what your subscribers receive worth having. We give you the list, the addresses, the postage and the schedule.
